HR Assistant **Urgent** Job at Ascendo Resources
The HR Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR team and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the HR department. This includes maintaining employee records, managing HR documents, answering employee inquiries, and assisting with the onboarding process for new hires. The HR Assistant will also play a key role in supporting HR initiatives and projects, as well as ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Medley, FL
- $22-$23/hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee records and HR documents, including employee files, benefit records, and payroll information.
- Answer employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling orientation sessions and preparing new hire paperwork.
- Support HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement programs and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including federal and state labor laws.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate and up-to-date records in HR systems and databases.
- Collaborate with HR team members to support the overall HR function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field is(preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience in HR or a related field is (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- English & Spanish (preffered)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus
