Houseperson Job at The Ranch at Rock Creek

Primary Purpose of Position
Responsible for keeping the property clean and safe to ensure comfort of all guests and other staff members at all times.
Full-time, year-round employees enjoy a benefits package that includes insurance, PTO, and holidays. Employees who successfully complete the season will be eligible for a bonus. Shared, onsite staff housing is available to employees at no cost. The Ranch also provides complimentary access to basic food items and a daily lunch provided by our staff cook.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop or blow all indoor and outdoor common areas according to the Standard Operating Procedure and as assigned by supervisor.
  • Sweep and mop event space as needed and as assigned by supervisor.
  • Strip out-going accommodations
  • Restock linens and amenities throughout vehicles and accommodations.
  • Put orders away
  • Take trash to the designated receptacles.
  • Clean Fireplaces
  • Clean public spaces
  • Clean/gas-up department vehicles
  • Stock storage closets with linen and supplies.
  • Carry heavy racks of water from filling station to accommodations
  • Perform weekly inventories and inform supervisor of supply needs.
  • Monitor proper function of appliances and repair of furniture and fixtures.
  • Report any needed repairs to supervisor in timely manner.
  • Assist with responsibilities and duties of laundry and other housekeeping services during needs periods.
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and co-ordinations with other team members.
Education/Experience
Required
  • Valid Driver’s License
Special Skills/Physical Demand
  • Ability to use radio/pager and respond in a timely manner.
  • Ability to perform assignments with minimal supervision and focus attention on details.
  • Ability to ensure security and confidentiality of guest and company information.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and or move 15lbs and occasionally lift or move 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area.
