Housekeeper Job at TRYON EQUESTRIAN PROPERTIES LLC
The Housekeeper is a professional that ensures a positive overall impression of the property as well as providing the necessary service of ensuring clean and comfortable rooms for guests. It is essential that the Housekeeper be highly thorough and professional in completing their duties.
The Housekeeper positively represents the Resort through the daily cleaning of the established standards of cleanliness and through interaction with guests.
The Housekeeper is required to maintain a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, holidays and weekends.
Duties and responsibilities
- Ensure the standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness are maintained throughout the Resort.
- Job duties included but not limited to changing bed linen, making beds, restocking of towels and other bathroom amenities, dusting furniture, vacuuming and mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and occasional cabin stayover service.
- Maintain a professional appearance with a positive attitude and is adaptable and flexible.
- Is patient, helpful and is interested in the welfare of the guests and staff.
- Has great attention for detail and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Follows staff conduct policies and time management guidelines.
- Is organized and able to prioritize workload.
- Must be trustworthy, maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent Resort data.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
- Able to multitask for the benefit of quality services.
- Able to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
- Handles negative situations with clear thinking, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgement.
- Communicates effectively and in a professional manner to all guests, co-workers and associates of the Resort.
- Desire and willingness to work as a team within the Housekeeping department.
- Willing to cross over and assist in other areas as required.
- Able to safely handle and use cleaning chemicals.
- Able to operate housekeeping equipment.
Experience
Some Housekeeping experience is desirable.
Shifts
8:00am - 4:30pm
or
10:00am - 6:30pm
