Housekeeper Job at Microtel Inn & Suites
At Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham in Sunbury, we currently have an open position for a housekeeper. We would welcome the opportunity to speak to you regarding this position and answer all questions you might have.
As a housekeeper, you will play an instrumental role in our hotel operations by ensuring:
- All rooms are cleaned within brand standards.
- Rooms are cleaned in a timely manner.
- Housekeeping carts are organized and clean.
- Vacuum dirt cups and hoses are constantly cleared of debris.
- Rooms are stripped to ensure a constant supply of linens and towels.
- You are knowledgeable of room types and standards for amenities.
- Rooms are aesthetically and hygienically clean.
- Stayover rooms are cleaned when requested.
- Cleaning is done in a way that does not disturb guests.
- Linens and towels placed in rooms are free of stains and holes.
- Reporting maintenance issues to the maintenance technician.
- Reporting suspicious activity and smoking in rooms to the front desk.
Requirements:
- Ability to work without a break.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to safely interact with cleaning chemicals, mops, and vacuum cleaners.
- Attention to detail.
- A flexible schedule in regards to staying on the property until rooms are inspected.
- Ability to communicate with coworkers.
Extra hours available at our sister property.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
