Position: Housekeeper

Location: Loudon, Tennessee

Duration: 03+ Months

Job Description:

· Outside building perimeter, parking lot, dock doors, levellers and ramp doors
· Sweep, vacuum, mop, shampoo carpets, strip and wax floors.
· Ensure facility is well stocked with cleaning supplies
· Set up and clean up after special events
· Check open tops and trash compactor and request trash pickups through Waste Management
· Empty trash and recycling receptacles/ materials.
· Maintain outside walk areas including sweeping debris and washing walkways
· Inspect roof drains and ensure roof is without debris
· Clean drains from aerosol, flammable room and outside perimeter
· Utilizing ladders, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts
· Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas.
· Weed abatement control and rodent control
· Clean windows and dust furniture.
· Track and order maintenance and cleaning supplies
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
· Clean and maintain shop area.
· Clean main offices, HR offices, lunch rooms, restrooms, offices and restrooms in 1111 building and YSC
· Clean the cardboard conveyor catch pans.
· Unclog drains, toilets, sinks etc as required.
· Monitor/clean baler, remove cardboard bales and load bales on trailer
· Wash trash cans, water fountains
· Perform all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have previous experience as a sanitation/janitor, with proven ability to work independently.
· Must not have a written warning.
· Ability to drive forklifts and pallet riders.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Frequent bending/reaching/stooping, constant walking/standing/climbing.
· Ability to work on Saturdays & Sundays.
· Lifting: up to 75lbs.

Experience

• Must have previous experience as a sanitation/janitor, with proven ability to work independently
• Must not have a written warning
• Ability to drive forklifts and pallet riders.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
