Private family in Pittsburgh PA looking to hire an Estate Manager/Driver fluent in Spanish!

A Pittsburgh family would like to hire an experienced and versatile Driver/Estate Manager/ Companion to provide care, upkeep, and supervision for the operation of their home and act as a companion to an elderly family member on occasion when needed.
The successful candidate must…

• Be vaccinated against Covid-19 and the flu.
• Be comfortable working around a (gentle) dog (25lb sheltie)
• Reliable, efficient, discreet with a calm, friendly, relaxed manner; must not vent frustration or stress in residence
• Must be highly confident, competent, and be able to manage competing priorities while viewing residence through the owner’s eyes
• Be well organized, sharp, and able to work quickly and energetically; being proactive and able to anticipate needs
• Speak English and Spanish-REQUIREMENT
• Have excellent references from both current and previous employers
• Have a valid driver's license
• Be eligible to work in the US, have long-term verifiable experience
• Be able to pass a drug, background, and driving check
• Sign a confidentiality agreement and non-disclosure agreement before starting work with the family

Position Summary:
The position is typically M-F, five days per week, up to 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to work weekends when needed. This could be during the day or the evening.
The Driver/Property/House Manager will also be responsible for the overall maintenance of the residence and property, including the house, garages, and service of vehicles. Scheduling the maintenance, management, and troubleshooting of systems, including HVAC, electrical, security, etc., and overseeing vendors/contractors and assessing potential household needs.

No cleaning involved, just household management.

The Driver/Property/House Manager will be responsible for driving and escorting an elderly (but spry) family member on personal shopping trips, doctor’s appointments, and various errands as needed and upon request.
The Driver/Property/House Manager will drive the family to/from the airport, meetings, and business and personal dinners.

The Driver/Property/House Manager will handle special requests and related duties as needed.

Additional availability is needed for events, with 24/7 availability to handle any property emergencies.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $85,000-$90,000 year
• Living Accommodations: Live Out
• Vacation: 2 weeks PTO
