THE ROLE

The position of Hotel General Manger leads the efforts in developing staff and achieving financial success and guest satisfaction of 130-all suites hotel. Generating profit to meet or exceed budget while focusing on top line revenue goals and cost containment that continually meets or exceeds operating standards are equal parts of the general manager’s responsibility as well as knowing the daily operation of each department within the hotel. Key responsibilities include:

• Strong analytical and strategic skills in the discipline of Revenue Management
• Leadership and the motivation necessary to maximize hotel revenues
• An aptitude in financial management, financial reports and analysis
• An interest for forecasts, budgets and adjusts expenditures based on the necessities of the hotel
• A passion for an active involvement in community and industry organizations
• A desire to involve oneself into sales and willingness to make sales calls

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, hotel reservation and revenue management systems, Internet and Social Media
• Analytical abilities
• Knowledge of Hilton Hotels preferred
• Knowledge of full-service hotels preferred
