Host Person - Bacchanal - Steady Extra (Caesars Palace LV) Job at Caesars Entertainment
Responsible to greet guests in an upbeat, friendly and courteous manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (includes but is not limited to the following)
· Answer incoming reservation calls.
· Complete reservations in the computerized reservation system.
· Keep abreast of all food & beverage venues and menus.
· Check availability on a continuous basis.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
· Greet guest in a warm and friendly manner.
· Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests.
· Using the table management system, manage incoming reservations and venue floor.
· Assist with daily administrative work as per direction of the venue manager.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: (knowledge, skills, and abilities)
- Knowledge of basic food and beverage products.
- Ability to perform basic/intermediate math skills.
- Ability to operate office equipment and Table Management system.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests, staff and management.
Knowledge, understanding and compliance of policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels and other instructions
QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant experience in high quality, high volume operation preferred.
EDUCATION:
High School education or equivalent.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATE :
Food Safety Team Member Training required.
Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) required.
PHYSICAL,MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
· Prolonged standing and sitting.
· Eye/handcoordination and manual dexterity.
· Abilityto distinguish letters, symbols, and colors.
· Normalvision and hearing range.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Workmay be performed in small area having a three-foot access.
· Abilityto tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, andair quality.
