Heart of Hands Homecare, LLC (HOH) is seeking competent caregivers to provide compassionate, quality personal care services to clients in the Grasonville and Kent Island MD area. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help the client. You will be hired as a 1099 Indepedent Contractor with opportunity to advance to a W2 employee after 1 year of reliable work with the company and based on evaluation.

Key Qualifications and Responsibilities :

• Must have experience with caregiving and companion care services
• Must be able to physically lift, bend, stretch and pull a person to assist with ADLs.
• Must keep client engaged and active.
• Must be able to pass a criminal and caregiver background check.
• Must be respectful and eager to learn about client's specific disability and needs.
• Must respect autonomy, independence, and dignity.
• Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions.
• Must be able to listen and follow directions.
• Once trained, must be a self-starter who can find and complete tasks with little direction.
• Must be able to perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment.
• Must be able to cook basic meals and assist with meal preparation.
• Must demonstrate the ability to be dependable and punctual.
• Must be reliable and able to work the agreed upon schedule without consistent, frequent call outs, tardiness, or issues.
• Willingness to work around pets / animals is plus but not a requirement.
