Heavy Highway & Site Construction Laborer Job at Diamond Materials, LLC
Diamond Materials is seeking dependable, experienced and hard-working individuals for our Milling, Paving, Pipe and Sitework operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pave roadways per plan specifications and, if need be, to perform tasks of other positions as instructed by foreman to insure daily schedules are met.
- Shoveling, raking, and operating a variety of small power equipment.
- Lift, carry and hold materials, tools and supplies.
- Assist in the set-up and tear-down of Traffic Control Devices.
- Properly follow all Company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment. Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, or Safety Manager.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management.
- Ability to operate tools standard in road construction.
- Knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques, including signals used.
- Previous experience in construction work or an equivalent preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass drug screenings
