Commercial Drivers are critical members of our team, ensuring the safe and dependable delivery of our products to our customers. We are looking for full-time Class A truck drivers for Lebec, CA who have experience in:
- operating and driving single vehicles with gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 26,000 pounds
- loading and unloading freight using proper freight handling equipment
- ensuring load contents are securely packed and organized
- maintaining detailed driving and delivery logs
- performing regular inspections and necessary vehicle maintenance (oil, fuel, tire pressure, etc.)
- following Hours of Service rules as relates to the towing industry
- maneuvering and parking large trucks or buses
- navigating routes with GPS and/or other routing systems
Applicants must:
- possess and maintain a valid Class A drivers license
- pass a background check, drug screen, and driving record check
- maintain a regular, dependable attendance record
- be able to work variable hours which may include weekends, holidays and overtime
- be able to lift 50 pounds
- be able to operate an electric lift, hand truck, and pallet jack
