Health Information Manager Job at St. Joseph's Villa, Inc
The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the health information in accordance with federal and state guidelines, as well as in accordance with our established policies and procedures, to assure that a complete medical program is maintained. Coordinate the facility quality assurance program. Maintain the electronic health record system.
- High School Diploma required
- Previous Clerical Experience – healthcare preferred
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology required
- Proficient use of Personal Computer required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel required
- RHIT(Registered Health Information Technician) or
2 years Medical Records experience preferred
- Knowledge of Disease Processes required
- ICD-10 coding knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of E.H.R. (electronic health record) systems and data entry preferred
