Role:

Reside Health is looking for a Head of Strategic Finance to manage the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about challenging the status quo in healthcare, is willing to get their hands dirty and solve problems, and excited to work in fast-paced startup environment with the autonomy to build systems, processes, and teams. You will have a wide range of responsibilities across the finance, operations, and strategy functions. Reporting to and working closely with the CEO, you will be responsible for enabling the company's growth and powering the systems and metrics that enable us to deliver exceptional care with a best-in-class experience. This role will be involved in high impact decisions and initiatives in the company.


What You Will Do:

  • Provide leadership for all financial operations (controllership, financial planning and analysis, and cash management) of the business
  • Create, manage, and take accountability for monthly financial reporting internally and externally to the Board
  • Plan, prepare, and execute the launch of additional sites in 2024
  • Play an integral role in fundraising
  • Create and own the operational metrics to measure the health of our practices
  • Provide the organization with visibility into goals, progress, obstacles for our key initiatives and day-to-day business operations
  • Support our operations team to create a system for triaging, prioritizing, and resolving operational issues as they arise
  • Work closely with sales & BD team to strategize, price and win more enterprise customers
  • Support the business operations of the business, including people-related operations [hiring, employee onboarding, and training]
  • Lead and drive company-wide goal setting and prioritization
  • Help build a positive and supportive company culture

What you will need:

  • 4+ years in progressive leadership roles within finance and/or operations
  • Experience in a healthcare tech company required
  • Experience in working at / leading Finance function at an early stage startup required
  • A solid understanding of the fundamentals of operating a primary care physical practice
  • Expert financial modeling capability with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Exceptional communicator and interpersonal skills
  • A "no task is too small" mindset. We are small and growing team and require everyone to roll up their sleeves and get the work done
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, set priorities, work independently
  • Experience with managing multiple stakeholders and both internal & external relationships
  • MBA preferred
