Fun, fast paced, Italian-American Pub & Restaurant in the heart of downtown Manchester.

Our restaurant is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating menus, managing food costs, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a eye for presentation. We are looking for someone who can motivate and inspire our team to create delicious dishes that exceed our customers' expectations.

Must have at least 2 years experience as a sous chef.

Pay & Benefits:

- $65,000 - $68,000
- 50-55 hours per week
- Two and a half day off per week
- CLOSED for all major holidays
- Two shift meals per full day
- 2 weeks paid vacation (time is accrused)
- 3 sick days

Position reports directly to business owners.

Responsibilities include

- Managing a crew of 15-20 people
- Cross training to work all stations in restaurant (pizza, saute, fry/salad station)
- Quality control management of all items
- Menu planning alongside owners (includes regular menu and weekend specials)
- Labor management of kitchen
- Food cost control
- Placing all orders with vendors weekly
- High standard for kitchen sanitation
- Assisting in hiring of kitchen staff
- Training new kitchen staff
- Leading a positive work environment open to teaching and growth!

Restaurant hours: Closed: Mondays | Sun, Tues.- Wed: 11:30- 8pm | Thurs – Sat.11:30 -9pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
