Guru Donuts in Boise, ID is looking for one guest experience to join our 15 person strong team. We are located on 1865 W Cesar Chavez Ln. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.

Born in Boise, Guru Donuts is a deliciously unique experience blending classic and seasonally rotated flavors. We take pride in using fresh, local ingredients to craft our made-from-scratch donuts. We make our unique glazes, fillings, creams and crumbs in-house - with ingredients you can pronounce. We are passionate about forging lasting relationships to strengthen our local community and spreading joy through the power of the shared donut experience.

OVERVIEW

Our Guest Experience Team is Guru’s front line customer service champion, responsible for creating and maintaining the exceptional Guru retail experience. The Guest Experience Team takes orders, boxes donuts, makes coffee and espresso, keeps the shop clean and organized and will be cross-trained on glazing our amazing donuts!

WHAT GURU NEEDS

We are looking for someone who is passionate about interacting with customers, working on a collaborative team, has an affinity for details and wants opportunities to learn and grow with Guru!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

*Punctuality and attitude - arriving on time and fully prepared for a great shift *Welcome every customer to our shop like they are part of the Guru family, anticipating each guest’s needs for an excellent experience *Take initiative and be proactive to solve problems efficiently *Knowledgeable about Guru products (local ingredients, allergens, etc.), processes (hand-made, etc.) and menu (flavors, taste, etc.) *Maintain a clean and safe working environment that is properly organized, fully stocked and appropriately sanitized. *Make espresso and specialty drinks, including latte art, to Guru quality and consistency standards

SKILLS NECESSARY

*VERY detail oriented and enjoy interacting with people *Must enjoy early mornings - we’re a donut shop! *Excellent communication - observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. *Interact positively with the public, helping maintain a safe and secure space *Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

*Full-time and part-time positions available *Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more and be on your feet most of the work day.
