Greenskeeper
Bretton Woods Recreation Center, Inc. (“BWRC”) is hiring a seasonal Greenskeeper. This position will anticipate the member & guest needs and provide a memorable experience. Reports to: Grounds Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent
Supervisor Responsibility: None
Requirements and Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where change and improvement is always present
- Availability to work an open schedule to include mornings, nights, weekends and Holidays
- Must have reliable transportation. No public transportation is available
Essential Functions
- Maintain course appearance and level of standards by trimming edges of sprinkler heads and plaques, filling divots, and other course setup tasks
- Operate machinery including but not limited to a string trimmer, mowers, etc.
- Maintain a professional appearance and wear required uniform
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions including heat and humidity, rain, wind, etc.
- Possible exposure to chemical and fertilizer fumes or dust
- Frequent lifting of 30 lbs. or more, bending, kneeling, climbing, stooping and pulling; being on one’s feet for several hours at a time
- Repeated strenuous labor including digging, raking, etc.
