JOB SUMMARY:

The gin roll rewrap operator is responsible for reconditioning gin rolls as they wear out during gin season and assist with general gin parts room duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

• Inspect gin rolls to determine what steps are needed for a return to service.
• Safely utilize the lathe, wrapping machine, and overhead hoist to perform maintenance on gin rolls.
• Responsible for filling orders, parts running, and inventory counts as directed by the Parts Office Supervisor.
• Maintain shop tools and equipment so they remain in a state of readiness.
• Maintain good housekeeping within work area.
• Prioritize work as needed to keep gin rolls available for each facility at all times
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Pay Range - $17-20/hour DOE
