Bradington-Young, a division of Hooker Furnishings Corporation is looking for a* Furniture Packer to join their team in our Hickory, NC* plant. Hooker Furnishings Corporation, in its 98th year of business, is a designer, marketer and importer of case goods (wooden and metal furniture), leather furniture and fabric-upholstered furniture for the residential, hospitality and contract markets.

The Position:
We are looking for a dependable individual with a great attention to detail to join our packing team. This individual will:

• Turn and move furniture in order to package it properly

• Manually wrap furniture with bubble wrap

• Work efficiently in order to ship product on time

• Check products for defects before packaging and scan products to be shipped

Candidates that will be a great fit will:

• Have previous warehouse or shipping experience
• Be okay with standing 8-9 hours a day and working independently
• Have the ability to use hand tools and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have strong attention to detail and desire to not just produce quantity, but high quality work

Shift: Monday to Thursdays 7 am - 4:30 pm and Fridays 7 am – 11 am
