Full Time position: 35-40 hours per week
Reports To: Supervisor

Primary Role:
Fully Liberated Youth is looking to hire a Full Time Independent Contracted Mentor. The primary role of an independent Mentoring contractor is to carry a case load and provide mentoring services to our Justice-Involved youth. It is the role of the mentor to sustain relationships with clients, case managers, educators, probation/ parole officers and other members of a client’s team.

- Commitment to meeting regularly for accountability
- Commitment to meeting and checking-in with supervisor
- Submit to an extensive background and reference check
- Have a working and growing knowledge of the Juvenile Justice System
- Have a working and growing knowledge of young people who have experienced trauma, oppression, and/or gang-involvement
- Bilingual provider is recommended!
Duties:
This individual will intentionally seek to establish and continue healthy relationships with state entities, case managers, parole officers, diversion officers, staff, facilities, schools, and community partnerships.
Service Areas:
- Offer young people the chance to develop a relationship with a loving, trusting, and pro-social adult who will walk alongside the client, advocate for the client, and aid the client in becoming a healthy and pro-social adult themselves.
- We seek to empower our young people to recognize their assets, so they can use their gifts to become collaborative, contributing, and trusted members of the communities.
- We work closely and collaboratively with other nonprofits, businesses, foundations, and churches to help our young people receive the holistic care necessary for them to be successful.

- Family Resourcing
- Spiritual Services
Performance Standards:
- Healthy relationships with agency staff
- Seek out and build new relationships with agency staff
- Healthy relationships with community members
- Continue to seek out and develop community resources, networks, and connections for clients
- Maintain a caseload of clients. Number of clients will vary due to independent contractor role
- Utilize various models in order to provide best services
- Provider will participate in the occasional case-management role, alongside their mentorship role. This is based on a client’s current needs.
- Resource clients as they integrate in the community
- Work collaboratively with client’s multi-disciplinary team in order to provide most effective services to client
- Maintain healthy rapport with client’s team
- Abide by all legal and ethical standards
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
