THE POSITION
We’re in search of the right fit for a Client Services Specialist. The position's primary focus is client intakes and assessments, developing client care plans, care supervision, coordination of services, and maintaining client records. The secondary focus is on industry networking and marketing. This position requires a hybrid schedule of in-office work, travel to client residences and network/marketing events around the greater Seattle area. Some remote work possible after fully trained. This position is full-time, M-F 8:30p-5p, with some flexibility.
THE LOCATION
Our office is in the Eastlake neighborhood of Seattle. The Client Services Specialist must have a car and be willing to travel around the greater Seattle area for client home visits and networking/marketing events.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITY AND REQUIREMENTS
- Kind and compassionate nature, along with a desire to work with seniors and others with special needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) with experience in senior care or social services; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to set limits and maintain boundaries in a professional manner
- Ability to identify and resolve problems and work through a variety of situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Able to respond to grievances/complaints in a professional manner
- Verbal and written command of the English language including excellent spelling and grammar skills.
- Ability and aptitude with technology necessary for successful day-to-day functioning including various databases, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, AdobeSign, etc., and Internet technology.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, manage time and multi-task with a high level of attention to detail.
- Work as part of team in a collaborative and cooperative manner.
- Valid Washington state driver’s license and driving record with no disqualifying events.
- Ability to drive and possession of a reliable and insured vehicle.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
- Criminal background check and driving record with no disqualifying events.
