Full-time Cleaning/Groundskeeping Technician position for Costello Property Management at our complexes in
Mission, SD. Must have general knowledge of cleaning. This is a full-time, year-round position.

The Cleaning and Groundskeeping Technician is responsible for assisting the Site Manager in performing all duties and functions required for the efficient operation of their apartment and townhome communities. The Cleaning/GroundskeepingTechnician is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, and parking lots of apartment and townhome communities as well as common area cleaning and unit cleaning.

The Cleaning and Groundskeeping Technician is responsible for assisting the Site Manager in performing all duties and functions required for the efficient operation of their apartment and townhome communities. The Cleaning/GroundskeepingTechnician is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, and parking lots of apartment and townhome communities as well as common area cleaning and unit cleaning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaning:
- Vacuum weekly with equipment as provided by property.
- Wipe down handrails.
- Clean all windows with glass cleaner.
- Spot clean tables and chairs as needed.
- Washers and dryers should be moved two times a year and cleaned beneath and behind, with manager/maintenance assistance.
- Clean/vacuum common areas throughout building.
- Clean vacant apartment(s) to ready for new rent-up.
Groundskeeping:
Perform groundskeeping duties to ensure grounds are kept in above standard condition
Perform all groundskeeping requests correctly and within the allotted time frame
Ensure the grounds remain clean at all times.
Daily care of building and all areas of the grounds to include mowing, snow removal, weed removal, and other areas as requested.
Care of on-site equipment (lawn mower, snow blower, etc.).
Assists manager with inspections.
Financial:
Responsible to keep expenses within budget by communicating with the Property Manager to combine all purchase trips, while adhering to set policies for obtaining verifiable receipts.
Resident Relations:
Represent the community in a professional manner at all times, on/off property
Report to Property Manager or Maintenance Technician any concerns for repairs.
Perform groundskeeping duties to ensure grounds are kept in above standard condition

Observe all company personnel, quality, and safety policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Knowledge of property management and marked ability to analyze and respond to site problems
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Working knowledge of fair housing regulations
Working knowledge of electricity and considerable mechanical ability to analyze equipment and their function and repair.
The ability to maintain confidentiality in regards to information and situations
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have Valid Driver’s License and Automobile Insurance
