Are you a detail-oriented person who enjoys corporate accounting?

This could be the perfect opportunity for you. You need to be a self-starter who can help with month end close and project related tasks for our accounting department. Your tasks will include preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month end close. As a bonus, you will get to work directly with our CFO (also an accountant), who is a former professor and will invest in your growth! This is a position for a person who is detail-oriented and understands basic accounting.

Through initial training and ongoing support, this accounting position will be able to support the Company, and it’s accounting department in many ways.

General Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconciliations of accounts
• Accounting support
• Financial reporting

Preferred Education and Experience

• Formal accounting education or
• 5 years of accounting experience with high school diploma or equivalent

Competencies

• General Accounting knowledge
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Undisputable ethical conduct and strong work ethic
• Collaboration and Communication Skills, verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be flexible with changing needs in a team environment
• Strong computer Skills; Comfortable with Property Ware/Lone Wolf and Microsoft Office

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time, in-office position. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
