Front Desk Hire ASAP Job at Holiday Inn Belcamp
Job Summary:
A $300.00 sign on bonus for the first 3 months of hire. Part time Saturday and Sunday only. Checks front office accounting records for accuracy and, on a daily basis, summarizes and compiles information for the hotel's financial records. Tracks room revenue, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics.
Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performance for the day. Posts room charges and room taxes to guest accounts including guest transactions not posted during the day by the front office cashier.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits.
- Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts using Opera property management system.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports.
- Audit and reconcile cashiers.
- Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
- Check guests/in out and perform Front Desk Agents tasks.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Balance revenue and settle accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day of operations while performing Guest Service Agent tasks and duties.
Other Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable in hotel services and programs.
- May be required to assist in any and all departments in the hotel and directed by management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
