We are currently seeking a Contract Attorney who is proficient in the French language with exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills. The Contract Attorney will work with our client directly.

Responsibilities:

· Help negotiate contracts for our client in Quebec

· Communicating with clients to learn about their legal needs and concerns and providing them with advice

· Review, draft and negotiate federal and state contracts, internal business unit documents, NDAs, and others as assigned

· Create contracts that 1) are a win-win for both parties, in terms of being fair and offering advantages to both sides; 2) minimize or eliminate risk factors related to the contractual relationship; and 3) nurture positive long-term relationships with vendors and customers

· Serve as a point of contact for contract questions from within the company

Requirements:

· Proficient in the French Language

· JD Degree

· Currently barred in the U.S.

· Experience reviewing contracts

· Experience reviewing, redlining, and managing contracts

· Experience reviewing and drafting various complex contracts

· Experience with negotiating contracts

· Extremely organized, thorough, and accurate with excellent attention to detail.

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work streams to meet deadlines
