What We Offer:
Our assisted living and health care kitchen is looking to hire an enthusiastic food service worker to join our team. Your job will be to help prepare meals, serve customers, and assist us in maintaining our dining room's cleanliness. Some of your duties in this role may include: preparing fruits and vegetables and interacting with customers.

Available to work nights, weekends, and during other busy hours
- Prepares and serves food.
- Cleans and maintains assigned area.
- Supports the rest of the team.
- Keeps work area and equipment clean and sanitary at all times.
- Sets up assigned area and maintains adequate supplies during shift.
- Follows daily scheduled utility cleaning guidelines as assigned.
- Adheres to State Sanitation codes and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with all health and safety requirements, being sure to follow each of them as closely as possible
- Listen to customer feedback and respond to complaints in a professional manner
- Answer customer questions about ingredients, and availability of our products
- Assist the kitchen staff by performing food preparation tasks like rinsing, peeling, and cutting ingredients
- Serve residents in a fast and friendly way
- Help our kitchen wrap, date-label, and store food items
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous food handling experience preferred, but not required
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent custiomer service skills
- Basic math skills
- Basic command of English language (speaking, reading, writing) and basic math skills required to ensure correct perform duties, understanding and following instructions, dietary restrictions, etc for patient, resident and employee safety.
- Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team and customers.
- Must be able to adapt to circumstances that arise and be able to make decisions quickly to problem solve any issues that may develop.
