Food Service Director
Located near Georgetown, NJ
A beautiful, skilled nursing facility located near Georgetown, NJ is looking for a strong Food Service Director.
Responsibilities:
- Directs the purchasing, receiving, storing and preparing of food and related products
- Creating the menu, developing recipes, and overseeing kitchen staff, operations, inventory, DOH regulations compliance and orders
- Responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates
- Properly opens the Food Service on shift assigned
- Schedules department working hours, personnel, and work assignments to maintain quality service
- Interviews, hires, and trains associates and maintains excellent relationships with clients
- Develops, manages, and maintains food service policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Must have Food Service Director experience in a nursing home
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
