Overview

Tradeweb is seeking an Internal Auditor to join this growing function. A successful candidate will be a strategic partner to the global business as we continue to expand Internal Audit’s mandate by executing a dynamic Audit Plan to supplement our SOX 404 Compliance testing responsibilities and other investigations / reviews / assessments. This person will report directly to the Head of Internal Audit.

Job Responsibilities

• Test the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls through the execution of our Operational Audit Plan, as well as SOX 404 compliance testing, SOC 1 / SOC 2 report facilitation and ad hoc audit work
• Identify, communicate and track implementation status of management action plans designed to mitigate risk and/or improve processes
• Liaise and partner with the business to identify opportunities to enhance the control environment
• Assist with the risk assessment and Internal Audit Plan processes, including taking ownership of business areas to facilitate continuous monitoring efforts, designed to support our agile auditing approach whereby the Plan is adjusted to reflect changes in the company’s risk profile throughout the year

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in Internal Audit and/or public accounting experience
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Interpersonal skills and desire to work collaboratively
• Dynamic self-starter attitude
• Confidence to work with and challenge more senior stakeholders
• Knowledge of SOX 404 requirements
• Knowledge of accounting best practices; CPA or CIA certification a plus

• The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $90,000 to $200,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
