ResourceTek is the Human Capital division of Barge Design Solutions, a multi-discipline Engineering and Architecture firm. We specialize in providing technical recruitment and staffing services to industry and government in all areas of Engineering, Information Technology, and a broad range of other technical disciplines.
In support of our client, a global innovator of synthetic turf systems, we are searching for a Controller to join their team located in Dayton, TN. This will be a direct hire opportunity.
Job Description:
- Accounting/finance experience including general ledger, financial statement preparation for a multi-entity/international organization, month-end, journal entries, solid analysis experience, exposure to forecasting/budgeting, account reconciliation's
- Strong supervisory skills; leading/developing a team; worked with a fully integrated accounting system
- Excellent communication skills, a proven track record of contributions to financial controls, and outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to allocate time and resources efficiently to ensure tasks/projects are completed accurately and timely, focusing on ever-shifting priorities
- Implement and ensure appropriate financial and internal controls in compliance with Company Policies and procedures
- Financial forecasting, planning and analysis process and identify and resolve potential financial risk areas in timely manner
- Will have direct management responsibility in the following: financial analyst, tax accountant
Education/Skills Required
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Seven years of accounting experience
- Turf Manufacturing experience is preferred (Textile Manufacturing may be acceptable)
- Computer skills including strong Excel and Dynamics NAV (Navision), Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central finance system skills, ability to use ERP systems
- Good organizational skills and cross functional teamwork
- Strong management skills
