Due to our expanding market, we are currently recruiting for an experienced OSP Survey Technician to join our growing team in Saint Michaels, AZ.

Position Summary:

The Outside Plant (OSP) Survey Technician is responsible for locating outside plant facilities and communicating as-build information to the design and construction department. Portions of the day may be spent outside along the right of way, driving to customer locations, and/or walking through operational areas. Position may also require extension of regular working hours on occasion to complete time-sensitive projects, attend training or respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities:

• Complete surveys to locate outside plant structures of fiber optic facilities and produce notes/sketches of actual plant route in the field
• Conduct audits and effectively communicate as-built OSP design through easily understandable field notes/sketches allowing database administrators to make changes to asset management plant design
• Engage with homeowners to allow property access for accurate data capture
• Mark map prints or sketches to describe OSP route in detail
• Ensure adherence to quality and compliance procedures & specifications
• Anticipate, prevent, and solve problems (proactive vs. reactive) within scope of authority
• Other duties as assigned by Project Manager

Qualifications:

• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license and maintain a good driving record
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software
• Maintain a high degree of integrity and honesty in all business dealings
• Be a self-motivated individual and display initiative
• Understand and follow all company policies and procedures, including use of proper PPE during performance of work

Job may risk exposure to extreme cold/heat, bright/dim light, dusts, and pollen, wet or humid conditions, extreme noise levels, vibrations, fumes and noxious odors, traffic, and moving machinery.
