The Role of Doodlebuggers Field Service Technician:

We are seeking an individual with a warrior fighting spirit who is motivated and has some construction/field work background to join our team as a Field Service Technician. Our ideal candidate will have a go getter attitude, love to learn, adapt quickly to change, and think quick on their feet. You should feel comfortable reading manuals, operating power and hand tools, and most of all problem solving.

Hours:

• 40 hours, Monday – Friday Serving the Escambia, Okaloosa, Baldwin, Santa Rosa, and South Walton County Areas

Job Duties:

• Build positive relationships with customers
• Provide service and customer support during field visits
• Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
• Educate the client on how to use and maintain their products
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
• Follow all company’s procedures and protocols
• Opportunity to earn nationally recognized certifications
• Plenty of room for advancement
• Hours: up to 40 hrs/week, Occasional Authorized Over Time
• Some out of town overnight jobs in Destin

Skill Requirements For Position:

• OSHA 10 HR Card. (We will help you with this)
• Computer skills including use of a tablet, filling out a PDF form, texting & email
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform math calculations. Cutting & crafting finish work for outdoor kitchens is a plus
• Great Customer Service Skills
• Current and Clean Driver’s License
• Clear and effective written and oral communication skills
• Flexible work schedule and willing to work after hours (nights & weekends) as needed
• Must be of good character & attitude
• This is a fast-paced work in a fast-paced Great attitude a must. Knowledge of electrical, construction and renovations a plus. Follow directions and love to problem solve
• Pass a local and national background check and drug test
• Clean and neat appearance
• Trustworthy, dependable, and honest
