Kanawha Scales and Systems family is looking for the following position available at our Alabaster, Alabama branch- Field Service Technician
Full-time
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- 40 hours/week
- OT/DT when available or needed
- $22.00/hour Non-CDL and $24.00/hour CDL
Job Description: Installation, repair and calibration of scales and related weighing equipment.

- Glassware Manufacturing – Drinking Glasses, Plates, Bottles, Light Bulbs, etc.
- Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
- Food Processing Scales
- Chocolate Candy Production
- Condiment Blending
- Commercial Bakeries
Qualified candidates must have the following:
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic hand tools
- Ability to lift weight of up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to learn new skills
Other skills or certifications not required for hire but valued such as:
- AC/DC Arc Welding
- Mig Welding
- Oxy/Acy Torch Cutting
- OSHA 10-hour Training
- MSHA Training
- Class B (or A) Commercial Driver License
