Job Title: Customer Service and Facility Manager

Chaparral Ranch is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to oversee the operations of our San Francisco location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a positive experience and that all aspects of the ranch are running smoothly.

MUST HAVE EQUINE EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all ranch staff, including trainers and stable hands
  • Schedule and oversee the daily operations of the ranch, including riding lessons, trail rides, and other activities
  • Manage and maintain the ranch facilities, including barns, stables, and arenas
  • Ensure that all horses are well cared for, including feeding, grooming, and exercising
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and ensure that their needs are being met
  • Work with the management team to develop and implement new programs and activities to improve the ranch experience
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
  • Ensure all staff meets customer service standards of the business
  • Hire and train new employees on site and ensure they are up to standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a ranch or equestrian environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have at least 2 years customer service experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of equestrian activities and horse care
  • Experience working with horses preferred
  • Competitive hourly based pay on experience and qualifications
