Job Title: Customer Service and Facility Manager

Chaparral Ranch is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to oversee the operations of our San Francisco location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a positive experience and that all aspects of the ranch are running smoothly.
MUST HAVE EQUINE EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all ranch staff, including trainers and stable hands
- Schedule and oversee the daily operations of the ranch, including riding lessons, trail rides, and other activities
- Manage and maintain the ranch facilities, including barns, stables, and arenas
- Ensure that all horses are well cared for, including feeding, grooming, and exercising
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and ensure that their needs are being met
- Work with the management team to develop and implement new programs and activities to improve the ranch experience
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
- Ensure all staff meets customer service standards of the business
- Hire and train new employees on site and ensure they are up to standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a ranch or equestrian environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have at least 2 years customer service experience
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of equestrian activities and horse care
- Experience working with horses preferred
- Competitive hourly based pay on experience and qualifications
