Job Overview
We seek a full-time Facilities Manager for a 52-unit condominium in Cambridge, MA. The Facilities Manager will oversee the daily operations. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position. This is a hands-on position which requires a self-motivated individual with experience in the property management and/or hospitality industries who can prioritize their day and tasks in accordance with need and any deadlines.. This position works directly with residents of the property, staff and vendors.

Responsibilities*

• Work with outsourced contractors, vendors, as well as the Board of Trustees
• Implement preventive maintenance programs
• Procure proposals and quotes for repairs
• Oversee complex capital projects
• Respond and coordinate on a 24/7 basis to emergency situations involving critical system failures at the property

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and experience in building operations and systems including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, fire systems and electrical.
• Computer literacy
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and vendors
• Must be flexible to meet the needs of the residents and client
• Must be able to utilize computer and related systems effectively

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000/year (dependent upon qualifications and experience)
