Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 DOE
Location: Anaheim, CA

Summary: Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery, systems and equipment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. Ensure compliance of storm water program, hazardous waste and government regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
- Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
- Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance program in conjunction with maintenance personnel.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
- Maintains time and production records.
- Reviews production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
- Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
- Confers with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
- Ensure boilers stay in compliance with Air Quality Management Department.
- Control storm water compliance: Housekeeping, spills and illegal discharges.
- Control hazardous materials, paper work, and storage waste properly, hauls materials with qualified transportation.
- Troubleshoot equipment and system malfunctions.
- Assist EHS/Maintenance Mgr. with insurance companies to update work with the City of Anaheim and Fire Department.

Competencies:
- Ability to write report, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- High degree of mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages subordinates in facilities/plant. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Other: Perform Maintenance Manager duties when necessary, ie vacation coverage.
Education and/or Experience: Engineering degree/ equivalent experience with minimum of 5 years’ work history in food and beverage.
Language Skills: English, Spanish is helpful.
