Experienced LPN/CMA - HIMG Oncology Job at HIMG (Huntington Internal Medicine Group)
HIMG (Huntington Internal Medicine Group) Huntington, WV 25705
HIMG is seeking and experienced CMA or LPN for our Hematology/Oncology department. This is a new position and we're looking to fill it quickly! We're looking for you to provide nursing support in a fast-paced physician’s office.
Duties include:
- triaging patients
- obtaining vitals
- performing department-specific tests
- cleaning and stocking rooms
- scheduling patient appointments and physicians schedules
- ordering lab work and other tests
- scheduling referrals
- completing patient pre-certifications
- answering phones
- calling in prescriptions
- taking messages.
Preference is given to candidates with electronic scheduling experience and exposure to electronic health record systems.
Requires valid WV LPN license or CMA Certification.
