Expeditor / Equipment Operator Job at ICE Services, Inc.

Rotation: 2 x 2
Reports to: Central Dispatch Foreman
Purpose of Position:
Transport materials to facilities and drill sites and move materials in client warehouses.
Educational Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Experience and Background:
- Prior warehouse experience.
- At least two years of work experience or training which demonstrates suitability for and knowledge of what is required in this type of work.
- Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Enjoy working with people; must be friendly, helpful, patient ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must stay calm in difficult and stressful conditions.
- Good communication skills, ability to speak, read and write English.
- Ability to adhere to strict policy and procedures per company and OSHA requirements.
- Able to record information accurately.
Certificates, Licenses and Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class B with HazMat endorsement that meets ICE Services insurance criteria.
- North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) Card preferred, not required.
- Ability to lift & carry 50 pounds on regular basis, routine walking, standing, bending. There is a lack of immediate access to critical medical services, as well as urban community services.
- Must pass pre-hire drug test, breath-alcohol test, occupational fitness test, computer-based testing and background check.

- Competent to operate front-end loader, fork lifts, pallet jacks as required.
- Operate fleet of trucks and pool vehicles.
- Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement.
- Fulfill all duties of a Material Handling Technician when not expediting/operating equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean worksite, contributes to the housekeeping needs of shops and worksites.
