Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) is a smart infrastructure solutions provider to organizations of all sizes. We are looking for eager and passionate Campus Hires to join our organization and help us fulfill our mission to be the most trusted data center partner – Empowering customers’ Intelligent Transformation, and solving humanity’s greatest challenges.
ISG Quality and Security organization is looking for an experienced Quality exec with a strong background in Data Center products. Must have experience dealing with Fortune 500 companies and leading a large engineering-based 3organization.
Role Description:
This role is a critical part of the overall Quality Management System for the ISG business. It has both a backend and frontend aspect that requires a very broad set of capabilities, but also must be backed up with a deep technical understanding of the Data Center ecosystem. The exec with lead a team of 150 Product Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Client-care Customer project managers.
In this role, you will be asked to perform activities such as:
- Manage and resolve customer escalations.
- Hire, Train and Retain Engineers in various locations around the world.
- Regular travel to engage with customers around the world.
- Regular travel to our various engineering CoC’s in PRC, Mexico, and Romania
- Work cross-functionally with peer execs in Supply Chain, Procurement, and Services
- Run the QMS to ensure that all KPI’s for the segments supported meet or exceed.
- Develop and maintain the KPI targets and data governance
- Manage any proactive field actions associated with the segments supported
This role requires a very strong commitment to Customer satisfaction and willingness to do what is necessary to ensure a customer is happy with Lenovo products and services around the world.
Candidates may be based anywhere is the US with preference given to Morrisville, NC.
Basic Requirements:
- 15+ years of industry experience in a Quality Management or engineering management role
- Global leadership experience
- 5+ years of Customer facing executive interaction
- Level-3 or similar type of support management
The base salary range for this position in Colorado, New York City, Nevada and Washington, is $220,000 - $250,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on [1] www.lenovobenefits.com.
