Executive Chef Job at Elizabeth Restaurant
Elizabeth Restaurant seeks an Executive Chef to work with our existing team. With our current Exectutive Chef leaving, we will be closing for a month an reopening with a new look, a new chef and a new name.
We are looking for someone who can design and execute creative 12-15 course tasting menus.
This is a hands-on position with a small staff. You should be prepared to prep everyday, cook everyday and deep clean everyday, all while supervising (and when necessary, teaching) the BOH staff in an open kitchen.
This is not a job to come into still needing to figure things out. BOH supervisory experience required, and a mastery of technique and plating are fundamental. That being said, this could potentially be a breakout position for an executive sous or chef de cuisine looking to move their career forward and make their mark.
