The Krohn Breakthrough Foundation is looking for an experienced full-time Executive Assistant to join the team. As an Executive Assistant for a non-profit organization, your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to the organization's executive team, including the Executive Director and Development Director along with other top level executives.

Responsibilities:*

  • Managing the executives' calendars and scheduling appointments: This involves coordinating and prioritizing the executives' daily and weekly schedules, arranging meetings, and ensuring that they are not double-booked or overcommitted.
  • Coordinating communications: You will need to manage the executives' email and phone communications, prioritize messages, and respond to routine inquiries. You may also need to draft and edit correspondence on behalf of the executives.
  • Providing administrative support: This includes a variety of tasks, such as managing files and records, organizing meetings and events, making travel arrangements, and processing expenses.
  • Assisting with fundraising efforts: In many non-profit organizations, fundraising is a critical part of their activities. You may be required to assist with fundraising efforts, such as organizing fundraising events, managing donor databases, and sending thank-you letters to donors.
  • Supporting the board of directors: You may need to prepare materials for board meetings, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Maintaining confidentiality: As an Executive Assistant, you will have access to confidential information, so you will need to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Ad hoc projects: You may be asked to assist with ad hoc projects and assignments as needed, which may involve research, analysis, or other tasks.
