POSITION TITLE: Event Rental Sales Assistant
Gabro Event Services is a premier event rental company serving the Tampa Bay area. Gabro has been established since 2010 and specializes in unparalleled customer service and an extensive, quality rental inventory.
REPORTS TO: Director of Sales and Marketing.
JOB TYPE: Full-time, 32 - 40 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

*The execution of the day to day operations in the Sales Department to ensure efficiency and productivity. *Work effectively with the Director of Sales and Marketing and Department Heads to improve the functioning of the Sales Department. *Assist the Sales Director in creating and implementing strategic plans in order to achieve operational objectives. *Follow and enforce safety standards, protocols, and procedure in compliance with a healthy work environment and legal requirements. *Answer inbound calls, assisting clients with their needs, forwarding inquiries to the appropriate Event Rental Sales Specialist, routing calls to the appropriate person, and taking phone messages for other staff members. *Be the main point of contact for in-house reservations by preparing and constructing contracts while keeping customer service as the main focus. *Assist Event Rental Sales Specialists with projects and client needs, and be the point person for assisting clients when an Event Rental Sales Specialist is unavailable. *Meet, greet, and assist clients with mock-ups and viewing the Showroom. *Update and maintain sales and Showroom calendars. *Maintain and update CRM software and phone services. *Be the point person for facilitating vinyl monograms, Gobos, and print shop orders. *Maintain and update COI’s, venue insurance needs, and other sales documentation. *Assist with daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance and inventory of the Showroom. *Occasional site and venue visits. *The ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays in the high season. *Other duties as assigned.
PERCENTAGE OF TIME:
- 100% In person, in the office.
QUALIFICATIONS:

*Must be at least 18 years old. *Must have a valid drivers license. *Sales Assistant or sales experience preferred. *Event rental or Event Coordinator experience preferred. *Must be able to participate in company safety and training programs and department meetings. *Must maintain a professional personal appearance. *Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly. The ability to speak other languages is a plus. *Must maintain an acceptable attendance record. *Must be able to provide, understand, and complete instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form. *Must be efficient and have the ability to adapt to different types of computer software.
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $16.00 - $18.00/hour.
