Responsibilities:

• Work directly with Lester Sales Representatives (Dealers/Area Managers/Territory Managers) to understand project needs and time-line.
• Work with Engineering to determine engineering requirements.
• Procure costs for non-standard purchased components used in Lester projects from approved suppliers; use these costs and approved mark-ups to provide custom price quote proposals.
• Create price proposals in IMPROV (Lester Buildings proprietary software) for components, assemblies and buildings sourced through LBS such as trusses, floor systems, and entire building projects. Apply approved mark-ups.
• Complete IMPROV file.
• Manage workload with another Estimator as needed.
• Support Order Entry as needed

Qualifications:

• An Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in a construction related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of work-related experience.
• Working knowledge of construction with prior estimating/ price quote proposal experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and reading blueprints is required.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail is critical.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills including responsiveness and follow up to customer inquiries.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to multi-task.
• The ability to manage and prioritize workload.
• Excellent computer skills.
• A working knowledge of EPICOR and knowledge of IMPROV is plus.
