ER WARD CLERK (7pm to 7am) Job at Pecos County Memorial Hospital
Performs admission duties for admitting emergency room patients to hospital services. Processes patient files to include but not limited to, assigning patient numbers, data entry and retrieval of patient information, collection of insurance verification, completion of all applicable forms and signatures, and collection of payments and payment information. Acts as a liaison with patient family members or responsible party. Performs duties involved in entering charges and physician orders via the CPSI order entry system. Reviews all ER forms for accuracy and makes the
necessary corrections.
