ENTRY LEVEL SURVEYOR (SI) Job at EMH&T
Summary
EMH&T operates the largest land survey group in the state of Ohio and we have an opportunity for an Entry Level Land Surveyor (SI) to join our team. You will be mentored by a Professional Land Surveyor to create drawings and perform calculations for setting various points or parameters using CAD. Responsibilities will include transforming field data using computer aided design (CAD) software into working documents for clients. You may be involved in the preparation of topographic, ALTA and boundary surveys, easement descriptions, and terrain modeling. You may also have opportunities to work in the field for time periods and work with specialized surveying equipment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering that allows you to sit for the FS exam; basic knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the field; and knowledge of Survey Geomatics techniques, principles, tools and various methods for graphically describing the location and distribution of land, physical relationships, and characteristics.
