The End User Support Technician position is included in a workplace model that allows for a combination of in-office and remote work.
As an End User Support Technician, essential duties include:
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware/software, networked peripheral devices, and any IT hardware or software exposed to end users.
- Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex IT problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed.
- Assist Service Desk Analysts in providing immediate user support via the Service Desk phone hotline.
- Manage active IT incidents and support requests within IT service management system.
- Assist with projects such as branch renovations, office moves, new office build-out, or other changes impacting end user computing.
Skills Needed
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Committed to continued development of knowledge and skills.
- Excellent technical knowledge of network and PC hardware.
- Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards, especially TCP/IP.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self Motivated with the priority of ensuring highest level of success for all the Team Members through effective collaboration.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have a valid driver’s license; required to drive company vehicle.
