GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
This position is responsible for providing Employee Relations support to various levels of the organization. Responsibilities includes investigating cases from the Ethics Hotline, recommending corrective actions for workforce issues, and advising management with respect to federal, state and local laws.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Act as internal consultant for the Ethics Hotline.
2. Provide coaching, counseling, and recommendations to varying levels of the organization on a broad range of workforce issues.
3. Assist in the investigation and resolution of legal complaints by drafting documentation to support Legal cases.
4. Provide investigative support to management in complex employee relations cases as a part of the conflict resolution process.
5. Conduct exit interviews to ensure proper information is captured, recorded, and is available for analysis.
6. Present updates to key initiatives at regional management meetings.
7. Manage background and drug screening vendor to ensure background and drug screens for new hires and internal promotions are completed timely. Identify and resolve screening issues with the vendor.
8. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
