Summit is currently seeking candidate for the following position:

• - K-6 th grade

Job Description:

• Develop and Internalize lesson plans
• Establish and enforce a set of rules for the classroom
• Keep parents updated on their child's progress
• Prepare students for standardized tests
• Monitor the halls in between classes
• Encourage students to learn as much as they can
• Recognize problematic behavior in students
• Keep the classroom under control
• Be punctual and timely to work and assigned duties

Experience and Skills:

• Master's degree in teaching (preferred)
• Ability to control a classroom
• Scheduling ability
• Organizational skills (proficiency in use of Microsoft 360)
• Effective communication and listening skills
• State teaching certification (if applicable)
• Ability to be coached and/or mentored by dedicated educators and partners
