• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across various subjects, including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of students.
• Establish and maintain open lines of communication with students, parents, and colleagues to provide regular updates on student progress and address any concerns or challenges.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and maximize student engagement.
• Assess student performance through regular evaluations, tests, and projects, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe, respectful, and disciplined learning environment.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop interdisciplinary activities, projects, and events.
• Attend professional development workshops and stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and educational trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licensure for the relevant grade level.
• Prior experience working with 1st grade students is strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
