Job Title: Electrician Technician

Shift: 8 Hour Shifts (Monday-Friday,7am-3:30pm), Overtime as Needed

Salary: Ranges from $18 - $25 / hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Weekly Payroll

Kimble Electric is a Florida State licensed and insured electrical contractor. The business is family owned and operated since 1974, based in Ormond Beach. We do residential and commercial electrical projects, to include repairs. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as an Electrician Technician. At our company, positive communication with clients is highly valued to provide the best customer service experience possible with the highest quality standard.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain safety and quality standards at all times – to include working with dangerous current and voltage

Ensure NEC (National Electrical Code) compliance through proper installation of electrical components

Install, repair, alter, and maintain electrical systems to include conduit, raceway, and conductors

Must be able to troubleshoot and find solutions to an array of electrical issues

Perform electrical tests, read results, and diagnose/repair electrical problems

Demonstrate ability to use hand and electrical tools - such as wire strippers, voltmeter, pipe bender, etc.

Complete job reports and other records as applicable

Experience with electrical schematics and blueprints is preferred but not required

Other duties as assigned, to include task delegation and supervision of assigned personnel

Selection Criteria:
Team-oriented mindset to communicate with other electricians and customers

Ethical code to uphold company credibility and customer relations - customer service skills are critical

Ability to lift 50 pounds, carry ladders, and work at high elevation

Demanding physical conditions include working outside in the heat and in attics/crawl spaces

Diploma in relevant vocational training, successful completion of apprenticeship OR four years equivalent in experience

Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record
