• Repairs, maintains, and installs electrical systems and equipment following all safety procedures, electrical codes, manuals, schematic drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic grounding and shielding, electricity, and electrical wiring and raceway systems.
• Maintains and repairs various types of electrical components.
• Uses test equipment, measuring, and alignment tools to perform assigned work tasks.
• Plans and coordinates work following appropriate work orders, work permits, and safety instructions.
• Performs work activities in a safe and environmentally sound manner.

This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.

The hourly rate for this position is $53.19 and represents Valero’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the expected compensation at the time of this posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications and experience.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 5 years related electrical experience is required.
• Associate degree or technical degree in an electrical field preferred.
