SEARHC is looking for an adaptable, experienced educator who wants to put their skills to use as the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Training Manager, supporting quality healthcare in SouthEast Alaska. The EHR Training Manager supervises the EHR training team to support the clinical staff in the use and adoption of electronic medical record applications and systems. This position works collaboratively with clinical staff, clinical informatics and the EHR trainers to analyze the causes of performance gaps; design and develop effective EHR training programs and options that utilize evidence-based techniques, technologies, and formats; plan and support systematic implementation of critical consortium wide EHR education; and evaluate the quality of training to inform how they can better achieve desired results. The EHR Training Manager must be an avid learner, comfortable with learning new technology, computer applications, and clinical terminology and workflows. Some regional travel required.

Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required

• Bachelor’s degree or other formal training in workplace learning, organizational performance, education, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted.

Experience Required

• 2+ years relevant experience in human performance improvement, workplace learning, or learning program development/implementation
• Experience working in healthcare settings and EHR systems preferred

Pay: $79,788.00 - $97,395.00 per year
